Alba was born in Buenos Aires to Okinawan parents; at the age of 7 she began his internship with Ryukyu Buyo (Okinawa folk dance) at the Okinawense Center in Argentina (COA) with Professor Setsuko Nakandakare, who years later also taught her Nichibu (traditional Japanese dance).

Born in Buenos Aires, Andrés began his formal music studies at the age of 7. He is a composer of instrumental, electroacoustic and audiovisual music and also he is Professor and Professor-Researcher of the Department of Music of the National University of La Plata.



Gastón is general director of the Nikyokan performing arts cultural center in Buenos Aires (Argentina), artistic director of the wadaiko and Japanese music ensemble Nikyokan Wadaiko and he is the co-founder of the magazine “Esto es Taiko”.

Mariano has been practicing taiko since 2011 and has been an active member of the Mukaito Taiko group since 2012. From 2014 to date, he is one of the artistic directors of the group and who teaches and prepares new applicants and students.

Born in Japan and raised in a family of great Japanese dance artists, she completes her musical knowledge of singing and traditional instruments with such masters as Eifusaji Kineya and Tsurujiro Fukuhara, among others.

Rosario’s profession is Music Therapist, and she has developed an extensive study of the link between Wadaiko and Music Therapy. She has experience working with children and adults with disabilities.

Leandro is a professional drummer and percussionist. He began his studies more than 20 years ago and had from teachers to great musicians such as Pera Bogliotti, Diego Albornoz, Diego Alejandro and Mario Gusso, and then continued as a self-taught musician.
