concept

The values and concepts that define the project are reflected in its logo:

The center is the sun, a giant drum, and the world. Japan is the country of the rising sun and in Santiago del Estero the sun is a very alive, strong and present natural element. “The fire of the west” is the name of the album by Jacinto Piedra, an artist from Santiago who changed musical history throughout the province. He gave that name to his first album inspired by the Santiago sunset. The lines in the red circle represent some movement like the sun rising or falling.

Taiko Leguero is Argentina and Japan, symbolized by indigenous drums from each country. The circles around are drummers who are hugging and connected. These circles can also symbolize the studs that join the taiko leather with the wood, and the lines that connect are the tientos of the bass drum. Both the studs and the tientos, adjust and join.
